Hi, I’m Derek: Scottish-born, Canadian-raised, and currently in the US in North Carolina.
Atlantic Destinations is primarily for travelers (like me) who are over 50 and are looking for memorable travel and adventure. We’re ready to use the freedom that advancing years can bring to get out there and see the world.
I’m one of you. I’ve actually been to the places I write about. I shoot my own photography and I tell you about every trip: what worked, what didn’t, where to invest your travel time, and what to skip — all in an effort to help you enjoy your travel too.
